Hello, Hello! I don't think anyone reads this so technically it is like my own personal online journal, so I will write whatever I want. Anyways, I am so excited to say that I have had a lot of things happen from September 2020 til now September 2021. It has been quite the last 12 months in the Jordan household.

September 2020
Joseph turned ONE!! We had to quarantine during his birthday which was sucky but I made him a teddy bear cake because I could dedicate more time to it during quarantine. I will say that it was kind of a Pinterest fail #nailedit moment, however I am very proud of it. I worked so hard on it and it is pretty cute despite comparing it to the Pinterest picture. (I will insert a picture to show the difference between my cake and the Pinterest picture cake.)
We also found out that baby #2 was a boy!
October 2020
We had Joseph's first birthday party on October 10 a month after his actual birthday because we had to cancel his party in September. We went to the corn maze and pumpkin patch with Nana, Pappy, Mimi, and Great Grandma and Grandpa Cotton and Gigi. A funny fail moment during his party at the corn maze was that we went through the haunted walk and Joseph cried. I felt like parent of the year. Face palm moment for sure.
We went to my parent's house to see my whole family minus my brother in-law around October 17. We had a girl party with my sisters and my mom and my nieces. My poor dad and husband were the only men besides Joseph and the son inside my womb so my husband was kind of bored. Thankfully he had his online courses for college so that kept him busy, but he totally came for me to be able to be with my girls and I am so thankful for him.
We went to Grammy's Halloween party at the end of October and it was so fun to party with the Farris Fam. My parents came to the party as well and so it was really great to see them again.
November 2020
We got a very welcome surprise/shock that we got into the townhouses so we had to pack up our apartment in a week and move into our new townhouse the first week of November. It was a great distraction from the election.
We flew to Louisiana for Thanksgiving and drove down to Orange Beach in Alabama for a four day beach vacation before Thanksgiving. I love the beach. Thanksgiving was a blast.
December 2020
We went to the Cotton's Santa Saturday and Joseph got to sit on his lap and get an early Christmas present from Santa. He loved it and had so much fun with all of the cousins.
We flew to Washington for three weeks and spent Christmas up there. The fun part was driving down to the cabin and spending a few days playing in the snow and having fun doing cabin things. Christmas was awesome. I spent the whole day Christmas Eve baking gluten free treats and sour dough bread and it was so fun even though I was huge pregnant and by the end of the day I was so dead tired.
January 2021
I spent some major time crocheting and spending time doing my hobbies because I knew I wouldn't get nearly the time that I got in the coming months due to baby #2 on the way. It was so fun getting crafty and having fun with my hobbies.
February 2021
My mom came a day or two early before I got induced to help out and just in case I went in to labor early. It was fun to spend some time with her before the baby was born and it was so great to have her around while I got used to being a mama to TWO boys!!! Ahh can you believe that?! I have two children!!

Bridger Boyce Jordan was born February 11 and he is just an absolute angel. His birth was so much better than Joseph's and I actually felt like I got to bond with him in a way that was so special. I went with a different OBGYN and I am so glad that I did because he made my pregnancy and birthing experience so much better. Instead of pushing for 3 hours all I had to do was push for five minutes and Bridger B came right out into the world! I got to snuggle him for two hours while we both recovered from the birth experience and I found out just how sweet and gentle he is. He is an incredible little boy and we are oh so grateful for him!
March 2021
We took Bridger on his first trip to St. George to see Bekah play volleyball at Dixie State. It was quite the travel experience both ways. On the way down there, what should have only been a six hour drive turned into a 13 hour ordeal that I will never forget. We left Logan around 10 am and had an errand to run in Ogden so we didn't leave from Northern Utah until around 1:30 pm. We made it all the way to Fillmore before trouble started. Unfortunately there was a freak blizzard in between Beaver and Fillmore and caused a couple of semi trucks to Jack knife and because of that there was three hour standstill traffic. My grandma Kaye was with us and she is quite the chatter box, Joseph was a mess because he was restless and unable to get out of his car seat and poor baby Bridger was dying of heat from the vents. Let me just say it was like a scene from Alexander and the no good very bad day. We finally got to my Aunt and Uncle's house around 1 am and I had reached my limit of frustration, complete exhaustion and annoyance. My emotional tolerance was at a 1. Despite the terrible travel to St. George, it turned out to be an incredible weekend with my whole family showing sweet baby B off and watching my sister crush it on the volleyball court.
We were able to have a surprise birthday celebration for Bekah because her birthday was that weekend. It was super fun to meet all of her friends and college buddies!
April 2021
We celebrated Bridger's blessing day on Easter Sunday which was so wonderful and such a spiritually uplifting day. I was so grateful my entire family was able to make it! We had such a great time together. I know I can always count on my sisters to show up for me. They are so supportive and some of my very best friends.
Mimi and Jefe got the boys a slide and an outdoor swing for Easter and we got to set it up on our tree outdoors and had a blast with Joseph sliding and swinging his heart out.
We flew to Louisiana for a couple weeks and went to the zoo, swam in Mimi and Jefe's pool, watched Hyrum play t ball, watched daddy and Uncle Andrew catch an alligator, and lots of other fun things.
May 2021
We celebrated 3 years of marriage in Louisiana, and flew home with our two lap babies. Aunt Boo came to visit and took our family pictures and played with the boys. We had a blast outside playing with the swing and the slide and all of our outdoor toys. The back yard was such a plus in the townhouse.
We celebrated Daddy's 24th birthday and had some more fun in the back yard.
June 2021
We celebrated my 25th birthday with my parents, and then I drove up to Washington with the boys the last week of June to hang out with my sister and her girls. We did all the fun girly things that you do when you have a girls weekend; nail painting parties, doing hair,, having girl chats, playing with the kids out on the slip and slide and trampoline and the kiddie pool, having cousin craft days, and pool parties at Aunt Amber's house.
July 2021
I stayed with my parents and celebrated Independence day with my mom and dad and Bekah who came up for the weekend. We went to a parade and a fourth of July party at my Aunt Melanie's house. Logan came up and got me and we drove back home together and enjoyed a week of rest at home. I fed Bridger sweet potatoes for the first time! He loved them. Logan flew to Dallas, Texas to interview for a job at Envoy Air so I stayed in Salt Lake with Grandma and Grandpa Cotton. Walked in a parade, Bridger learned how to crawl, Logan came home and we went to the temple, and then we drove up to the cabin to spend a week with the Farris Fam Bam.
August 2021
Drove home from the Cabin and JJ threw up 15 min into the drive. It was horrible! Poor baby got car sickness from his daddy. Spent time at home playing out in the backyard, going on walks to the park, and having fun with daddy when he got home from work/school. We drove down to St. George and picked up a piano from my sister and drove it back home! While in St. George we walked on campus and hung out with Bekah after volleyball practice, swam in the hotel pool and relaxed! Back home we built a fort with dad and spent several hours playing in the fort, and Bridger learned how to sit up on his own!
September 2021
Nana and Pappy came and watched the boys for a weekend so we could go through the temple with Logan's cousin, have a date night and enjoy some time away from the kids. Logan's parents house flooded so he flew to Louisiana to help them and Mama and the boys drove up to Washington for a week and a half. When we got back home we threw a party for JJ's 2nd birthday!
October 2021
Played outside a whole lot while the weather was still nice, went on walks, played inside with the new toys JJ got for his birthday, Bridger started crawling even more following JJ around, It randomly snowed so we took JJ out to the backyard and build a snow mountain to slide down, My mom came and we met my dad down in Orem to watch one of Bekah's volleyball games, and we had so much fun playing at the park a whole lot. Celebrated Halloween at the Cotton's house and went trick or treating with our besties Jordan and Andrea and their twins.
November 2021
Crocheted several Afghans, went to the park, played in the jeep and drove it around and on walks, went to Bekah's Senior night for volleyball in St. George, was feeling super tired and just sick so I took a pregnancy test and found out I was pregnant with baby Jordan #3!
Spent Thanksgiving in Louisiana, throwing up and super sick because of my first trimester illness.
December 2021
Went to Logan's work dinner at the airport and took pictures by the airplanes, put up Christmas decorations, played Christmas music, went to the Cotton's Santa weekend and sat on Santa's lap, had picnics on the floor in the family room, still super sick with nausea and just all around first trimester fatigue and muckiness. Drove up to Washington and celebrated Christmas with my parents and then left the boys at their house to drive home and pack up our townhouse and move out into a 3 bedroom apartment.
Spent New Year's Eve in our new apartment unpacking, throwing up in the toilet, and laying on the couch.
The Year 2021 was a whirlwind of love and fun and we are so grateful for it!
