The Year of 2022 is coming to a close in the next month and a half and instead of doing a "life Update" I think I will just highlight the best of what 2022 has given to us. It has been a year of change, a year of growth (lots and lots of growing pains), and a year of learning.

January 2022

Spent the month putting together our new apartment and me chasing after two crazy little boys and puking in the toilet with morning sickness.

We went sledding and played in the snow constantly.

February 2022

Bridger Boyce turned 1! We had a special monster birthday party because he is our little monster getting into everything. Both Nana and Pappy and Mimi and Jefe came to celebrate, we had Grammy’s famous chili and cornbread, blew out candles and Bridger smashed his cake. He wasn’t very into it at first but after he realized that he could smush it and eat the frosting, he was all in.

March 2022

On March 1 we found out the baby Jordan #3 is a GIRL!!! We were so excited! It is the second girl in the Jordan family and the fourth girl to join the Farris clan. I got right on crocheting her several different photo outfit cocoons and diapers, and blankets. I was super into the pink and the purple, sunflowers, and girly bows, etc. I was on cloud nine to say the least seeing as I never thought that I would ever get a girl. I was always hopeful, but not too hopeful. Thankfully the Lord blessed our home with a girl so that I could continue to be a great mother.

April 2022

April was uneventful just playing outside, going on lots of walks, and getting extra fatigued chasing around my crazy cute boys.

May 2022

Logan GRADUATED COLLEGE!!! It was a wonderful day and such a long ceremony. But he got his diploma and has since started Flight Instructing at Utah State University. We celebrated our anniversary after his graduation, and also Logan’s 25th Birthday!

June 2022

We celebrated my 26th birthday!!! After 26 years of living I have been filled with gratitude for the way that my life has turned out. I will have 3 kids this 26th year of living. It has been wonderful becoming a wife and a mother in the last 4 of those years living.

July 2022

We welcomed Evie Elizabeth Jordan into the world July 6, 2022 which was 2 and a half weeks early. I was exactly 38 weeks pregnant. I went into labor naturally and held out on the epidural until they started pumping pitocin into my system and the contractions started to kill. However the epidural did not work on my right side again and was so awful, I wish that they didn’t put pitocin in and that I could have labored naturally. I am determined to labor naturally with my next baby because of this. When Evie was born, she hadn’t gotten the liquid out of her lungs and needed extra help flushing it out so she went straight to the NICU and spent a week there. It was the hardest week of my life. I had to mourn the loss of what I thought labor and birth was supposed to be like and accept my reality of what happened. I was an emotional wreck and completely exhausted by the end of that week. Thankfully I felt completely carried by angels on the other side, my sweet wonderful husband, and several people in our ward, and my wonderful mother and family! We are so grateful for the NICU nurses and doctors who worked tirelessly to make sure that Evie came home with us happy and healthy. A blessing that happened in the NICU was the fact that Evie is truly a wonderful nursing baby. She was chomping at the bit to breastfeed and immediately latched when I could finally breastfeed her. It was a miracle and an answer to my many prayers in the days prior to her breastfeeding.

August 2022

We started adjusting to having 3 babies! Literally babies because they were all under the age of 3! It was a very rough month to say the least because Logan was gone for a couple days for work so I was completely on my own single momming it with three kiddos, two crazy A boys that kicked my butt.

September 2022

JJ turned 3! We had a huge party for him and both grandparents came and lots of great grandparents came to celebrate him. We had cake, opened presents, played at the park, went to Aggie Icecream and ended the night eating pizza for dinner back at our apartment. We also had a huge celebration the next day for Evie’s blessing day! By the time the weekend of celebrating was over I was completely exhausted from being a great hostess.

October 2022

Aunt Boo took our family photos in the canyon with all of the fall leaves.

I had a lot of doctor visits trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I finally found out that my gallbladder wasn’t working properly and scheduled surgery to remove it.

We went to Boise and had a surprise 50th Birthday celebration for Uncle Sy and Aunt Liz, then drove to American Fork for Halloween and continued our tradition of Trick or Treating with Andrea and Jordan and their twins.

November 2022

I got gallbladder surgery and have been in recovery for the past two weeks. Thank heavens my Mama came to take care of me and my kiddos. I can always count on her to help and be there for me when I need her. We are anticipating a wonderful Thanksgiving with the Farris Fam!

This year has been so great and so eventful! I am excited for the Christmas season and another year of growth and Love!
