Life Update

Hello! Well this is awkward, I haven't posted since the year 2017 and it is now 2019! I can't believe it! Time flies when your'e busy having fun and living life.

Seeing as it has been TWO YEARS, I decided that I would give you a quick life update! I won't go into too deep of details seeing as some of it is boring, but I will detail out my most favorite parts that are super fun (for me) and add a few pictures to better illustrate my JOY!

To start out, the year 2017 was just boring with me going to school and trying to find myself, chopping 20 inches (not even joking) off of my hair, and working furiously to grow it back,

until BOOM December 8, 2017 I met the LOVE of my life Logan Jeffrey Jordan. We met on temple square in Salt Lake City touring the Christmas lights. He stole my heart that first night we met and even held my hand and KISSED my lips. He was quite brave and confident that I would reciprocate his affections, which is why I liked him so much.

This lead to us getting engaged less than a month later on January 16, 2018. (Yes I know, what a whirlwind romance, but, when you know you know okay.) He decorated a gazebo in tea lights and rose petals, got down on one knee and told me he wanted to spend forever with me! Obviously I said yes because he is my absolute dream of a man.

Fast forward a few months and we got married in the Boise Idaho Temple on May 5, 2018. We were sealed for time and all eternity and it was the absolute best day of my life. It is hands down my most favorite experience to date. Knowing that I get to be with my best friend forever means the whole world to me.

Our first year of marriage we have been a lot of places. Our first apartment was in Orem, UT and we lived there from July 2018- December 2018. We went to Virginia for Thanksgiving, to see his brother and wife (his brother had an internship in Washington D.C, pretty cool)

December 2018 was awesome, because we made some pretty life changing decisions. We decided to move from Orem, UT so that Logan could start school at Utah State. We decided this within a matter of weeks so it was kind of crazy getting our whole life packed up and moved by the end of December. In the midst of this, my little sister came home from her mission in Portugal!! One of the best Christmas presents ever! Once Christmas was over we made it to cache valley so that Logan could live his dreams and go to school to become a pilot! I started working at the Logan Regional Hospital Child Development Center as a pre-school/ daycare teacher to be Logan's sugar mama (just kidding but really).

January 2019- I peed on a pregnancy stick and we found out we were pregnant!!!! Let me just say that, that was the most surreal experience of my life. As an adult woman, I have been trying to prepare myself for that moment for years but you don't fully understand the magnitude of how CRAZY and AWESOME it is until you actually see the positive sign on the stick. Both my husband and I burst into tears of joy and then we started laughing because, you know, we didn't know what else to do. (Also, we kind of jumped the gun on telling our family and immediately called my parents and then his parents the night we found out #sorrynotsorry)

February 2019- I was sooooo sick and pretty much lived off of popsicles and ice cream (first trimester was not my friend)

March 2019- We found out that Baby Jordan is a BOY!!! He is the first boy on my side of the family. I come from a family of all girls and that includes my two nieces, so this boy is going to be SPOILED! To say we are excited is an understatement!

June 2019- Baby JJ finally showed his face to the ultrasound picture.

Isn't he just the cutest!! I can't wait to squish his sweet little cheeks!!!

And that my friends leads us to now August 2019-

I have just been living my best life as a preggo lady for the last eight months and we are down to the last month of pregnancy!! Let me tell you something, pregnancy is HARD. It is no joke. I have so much respect for women everywhere who are mothers or are about to become mothers because man, it has been kicking my butt and I haven't had my sweet baby yet. BUT, I am so grateful for this opportunity that I have to actually carry a child INSIDE of me. It is a miracle for which I count my lucky stars. It has been my biggest dream to become a mother ever since I can remember and I am sooooo beyond excited to meet my son!

That has been my life in a nutshell thus far. I am so excited for this next great adventure that I am on with my wonderful husband, and I can't wait for MOTHERHOOD!! Life is such a JOY and I can't wait to share more of it with y'all. Hopefully it will be sooner than two years for the next post to come up. ;)
